We are currently seeking Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants for school-based opportunities in Beaumont and nearby communities. These positions are a strong fit for professionals who enjoy helping students strengthen their speech and language skills while working under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Your Role and Responsibilities As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, you will help deliver therapy services and structured interventions to students with a variety of communication needs. In this role, you will: Carry out speech and language activities developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Help students make progress toward communication goals identified in their Individualized Education Programs Provide direct services in individual and small-group settings as assigned Support students with articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and other communication needs Collect performance data and document student participation and progress during therapy sessions Prepare instructional resources, therapy materials, and activities before scheduled services Maintain organized service records and complete required documentation within established timelines Coordinate with the supervising SLP, teachers, campus staff, and other members of the educational team Follow treatment plans, district procedures, supervision requirements, and applicable compliance standards Qualifications for This Position Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field Current Texas license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Ability to provide services under the supervision and direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work effectively with students, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Valid Texas driver's license when travel between campuses is required Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred Work Setting and Scheduling Options On-site, school-based assignments in Beaumont and surrounding communities Opportunities to support students from prekindergarten through high school Flexible placement options, including: Full-time assignments Part-time schedules Placements coordinated according to your qualifications, availability, and current district needs What You Can Expect from TX-STAR Competitive compensation based on relevant experience Flexible scheduling opportunities Dependable bi-weekly pay Access to medical, dental, and vision insurance options A supportive and people-centered workplace culture Continued guidance from experienced program staff Employee referral bonus opportunities Professional learning and career development resources Access to an established network of school district partnerships throughout Texas Learn More About TX-STAR Since 2010, TX-STAR Speech Language Services has helped school districts across Texas connect with qualified special education and related-service professionals.
