212• Therapy is a Pediatric Home Care Company with administrative offices based in Beaumont, TX servicing East Texas. We offer Speech and Occupational to children 0-18 years of age. This is a perfect position for someone who is looking to broaden their scope of practice working with children or looking for flexibility. Therapists are free to choose their service area. New grads or therapists with pediatric interest are welcome to apply. Shadowing and mentoring opportunities are available. Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university, must be currently licensed in the State of Texas, and must be CPR certified. Reliable transportation required. We are looking for a committed and patient-focused Speech Language Pathologist to develop, recover or maintain the communication skills of children with developmental delays, feeding/swallowing difficulties and phonological disorders. You will offer effective and client-centered services that will enable children to confidently and independently communicate in their everyday environment. The successful candidate will have an holistic perspective and will be able to adapt the environment to fit the person. Responsibilities Diagnoses and evaluates speech and language skills Plan and conduct interventions to increase speech and language skills in adolescent children Guide and educate family members and caregivers with a home program Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals Collect data and document processes followed Skills Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of speech therapy Familiarity with evaluation tools ( e.g. PLS-5, REEL-4, SSI-4, GFTA-3, etc) Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skill Pay rate
