Qualifications:
Hold an active SLPA license through the state of Texas by your start date Proven experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the school environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language services under SLP supervision within the school setting Follow tailored treatment plans to address students' individualized goals Maintain accurate records for each student as required by state regulations and district protocols Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development Caseload ages and preferences can be discussed during the interview process and will be considered thoughtfully Manage a reasonable caseload designed to facilitate student success and a positive work-life balance
