Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Mansfield, TX. As an integral member of the educational team, you'll work collaboratively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students achieve their communication goals and reach academic success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Hold an active SLPA license in the state of Texas Completion of an accredited SLPA program with required coursework and practicum Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to implement treatment plans under supervisor guidance Organized, dependable, and professional with a passion for helping children
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned students under SLP supervision Assist with screening, assessment, and documentation tasks Follow prepared lesson plans and track student progress toward individualized goals Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet students' developmental needs Maintain accurate records of student performance and session notes Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and support staff This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while developing your professional skills in a supportive educational setting.
