Hours:
Part-Time (15
  • 25 hours per week) Monday
  • Friday Afternoons and Early Evenings (approximately 12pm

Location:
Eastside Therapy Services Center in Issaquah Schools and homes in the Issaquah area As an SLPA at ETS, you will enjoy: Weekly flexible admin time paid at a billable rate Collaboration with Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists in innovative small-group programming designed to provide individualized support for each child. Weekly one-on-one meetings with SLP manager and monthly SLP team meetings SLP Clinical Growth Program , including mentoring and support to pursue your professional interests A team culture that is reported as a top three favorite part of the job for nearly all team members. Seasonal staff get togethers at baseball games, bowling alleys, orchards, etc. are always a highlight. Our outpatient pediatric therapy team has been serving families for more than ten years! We work in schools, homes, child care centers and our two locations in Gilman Village, Issaquah. ​Interested in what it is like to work here? Our team takes pride in developing an individualized and holistic approach to services for each of our patients, as well as an individualized experience for each provider.
Specific responsibilities include:
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Collect accurate data during therapy sessions and communicate client progress to the supervising SLP. Collaborate with team members (SLPs, OTs, ABA therapists, educators, and caregivers) to support meaningful participation across environments. Prepare therapy materials and create engaging, play-based activities that support treatment goals. Find creative ways to make speech therapy fun, effective, and motivating for children. Assist with caregiver education by demonstrating strategies and reinforcing home practice recommendations developed by the supervising SLP. Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the company's electronic medical record (EMR) system. Participate in clinical meetings, team collaboration, and supervision sessions. Follow all state regulations and ethical guidelines regarding the SLPA scope of practice.
Qualifications and Skills:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Washington State. First Aid/CPR Certified. A natural team player who genuinely enjoys collaborating with others. Passionate about helping children reach their communication potential. Previous experience working in pediatric speech-language therapy preferred. Experience with play-based, child-led intervention approaches. Experience working with autistic children preferred but not required. Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) preferred. Interest or experience participating in social groups preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
