Job Description
A unique opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who is passionate about making a difference in a close-knit, community-focused school environment. This contract position offers the chance to support a small caseload of approximately 14 K-8th grade students, fostering meaningful connections and individualized progress. You'll be joining a supportive team that values collaboration and deeply cares for its community. As part of this role, you'll work on-site for 24 hours per week in a school setting, starting just after Labor Day. You'll have the advantage of working alongside a dedicated Virtual SLP, receiving guidance while gaining hands-on experience in a nurturing, small-school atmosphere. The compact caseload allows you to give each student the attention and care they deserve, while being part of a team that appreciates your skills and dedication.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Active SLPA licensure or eligibility in Washington State Experience or strong interest in K-8th grade student populations Ability to follow treatment plans and goals set by a supervising SLP Excellent communication and documentation skills Commitment to building positive relationships within a small, community-oriented school Ability to work independently while also collaborating remotely with a
Virtual SLP Primary Responsibilities:
