You didn't become an SLPA to sit in a beige room with a stack of worksheets. And we didn't build VITA to be an ordinary pediatric clinic. VITA Pediatrics is a growing, highly collaborative pediatric practice in the Pacific Northwest, where therapy is active, creative, relationship-driven, and FUN! Our kids move. Our therapists move. Our sessions might involve an obstacle course, a swing, a game, a messy activity, a big win, or a completely different plan than the one you walked in with ;) We're looking for an SLPA who brings great energy, takes initiative, loves kids, and wants to be part of building something special.
THE ROLE
As an SLPA at VITA, you'll work with pediatric clients under the supervision of an SLP to carry out individualized treatment plans and help kids build meaningful communication skills. But we want you to bring YOU to the session. Your creativity. Your ideas. Your personality. Your ability to turn a goal into something a child actually wants to do. You'll also get to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of speech, occupational, and physical therapy professionals who believe kids do best when we work together.
YOU'LL LOVE VITA IF
YOU.... Love working with kids Want to know the child ( and family) not just their goals Can make therapy feel like play while still delivering excellent care Like collaborating with OT, PT, families, and other professionals Are comfortable being active, creative, and flexible Notice what needs to be done and jump in Bring ideas instead of waiting to be told exactly what to do Want mentorship and room to keep growing Care about creating an incredible experience for families Want to be part of a team that is building and expanding, not maintaining Believe pediatric therapy can be both high-quality and really fun Love coffee Fridays!
WHAT YOU WON'T FIND HERE A
cookie-cutter therapy model. A culture where everyone stays in their own lane. Or the expectation that you leave your personality at the door. We care deeply about clinical excellence, and we equally care about creating a place where kids want to come, families feel known, and great clinicians THRIVE internally and externally.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide pediatric speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP Carry out individualized treatment plans and goals Create engaging, functional, child-centered sessions Document treatment clearly and efficiently Communicate with families about progress and carryover Collaborate with our OT, PT, and speech teams Participate in mentorship, team development, and clinic initiatives Help us continue making VITA better
COMPENSATION
$35-$45/hour Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Current Washington State SLPA credential/eligibility Pediatric experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, organized, and self-directed Someone who is excited to contribute, not just clock in
ABOUT VITA VITA
