Job Description

Category Nursing - Sterile Processing Tech Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting top-quality patient care as a Sterile Processing Technician. You'll play a pivotal part in infection prevention by ensuring that surgical instruments and medical equipment are meticulously decontaminated, sterilized, and ready for use.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract position
Qualifications:
Experience in sterile processing required Proficiency with industry-standard sterilization techniques and equipment Certified Sterile Processing Technician credential preferred, but not mandatory (non-certified candidates with strong experience will be considered) Familiarity with healthcare safety standards, infection control protocols, and instrument tracking systems Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Clean, disinfect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays in accordance with healthcare regulations and protocols Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures and product traceability as required by facility policy Monitor and operate autoclaves, washer-disinfectors, and other sterilization equipment Perform regular quality control checks and routine maintenance of processing equipment Collaborate closely with surgical staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of instruments and supplies Uphold uncompromising standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times
