This contract role is perfect for professionals who are certified and dedicated to excellence in sterile processing, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (two positions available) 11:00 pm - 7:30 am (one position available)
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Certified in Sterile Processing Tech—current certification required Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience Completion of BLS certification Strong communication skills and consistent attendance record Ability to follow directives and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent interpersonal abilities Willingness to participate in ongoing training to enhance skills
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and distributed to support patient care Adhere to established protocols to maintain facility and regulatory standards Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet instrument and supply needs efficiently Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, equipment usage, and inventory Participate in quality assurance activities and report equipment concerns Demonstrate adherence to safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies
