This is a critical behind-the-scenes role for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, has exceptional attention to detail, and understands the important role Sterile Processing plays in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care. Our Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, inspection, processing, assembly, and sterilization of instruments, supplies, and equipment used in our surgical procedures. Working closely with our clinical team, you will ensure that instruments are safe, functional, properly prepared, and available when needed—setting our providers and nurses up for success with every patient and every procedure. This part-time opportunity offers a consistent three-day-per-week schedule with weekday hours—no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements. For an experienced Sterile Processing Technician looking to continue doing meaningful work while gaining greater predictability and balance in their schedule, BUSC offers a unique opportunity to make an important impact within a smaller, specialized surgical environment. Sterile Processing certification is required.
