Job Responsibilities:

Assisting in surgery, monitoring and escorting patients, sterilization of instruments, Treatment plan presentation, ordering of equipment and supplies, proper infection control.

Other duties include:

Ordering, organizing and storing surgical supplies, Implants, DEA Drug Logs, taking xrays (PAs, Panoramic and Cone Beam CT Scan. Sending out Pathology and following up with Biopsies. Answer telephones, schedule appointments, check in/check out. Comply with all Safety, Emergency, Hazard, OSHA, HIPAA, Clinical, Quality Assurance and Administrative Plans, Policies, Guidelines, Protocol, and Standards Requirements for

Position:

Prior surgical assistant experience preferred (2 Years assisting in surgery). Implants, Bone Grafting (PRF) and Perio surgeries a plus. Knowledge and use of Dental terminology (CDT).
