Job Overview A highly specialized dental practice is seeking an experienced Surgical & Restorative Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This position combines advanced surgical and restorative assisting with patient and case coordination. The ideal candidate is an experienced dental assistant who is comfortable with complex dentistry, takes ownership of patient flow, and enjoys working in a highly skilled, technology-driven clinical environment. Primary Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance for advanced surgical, implant, and restorative procedures Prepare surgical operatories, instruments, materials, and equipment Maintain surgical asepsis, sterilization, and infection-control protocols Assist with implant surgery, bone grafting, full-arch procedures, advanced restorative treatment, and related procedures Anticipate the doctor's needs and maintain efficient clinical flow during complex procedures Assist with digital workflows, scanning/impressions, photography, records, and clinical documentation Collect and organize necessary clinical and case data Provide postoperative instructions and patient education Assist with treatment plan preparation and coordination Serve as a knowledgeable resource for patients throughout treatment Assist with scheduling, checkout, and other administrative responsibilities necessary for seamless patient flow Communicate effectively with the doctor, treatment coordinator, administrative team, and laboratory Assist with management and organization of surgical and restorative supplies and inventory Qualifications Dental assisting experience required Surgical, implant, prosthodontic, or advanced restorative experience strongly preferred Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) training/credentials highly valued Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Comfortable working with advanced dental technology and digital workflows Ability to anticipate clinical needs and work efficiently during complex procedures Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent patient care
CPR/BLS, ACLS
Radiography license Ideal Candidate We are seeking an experienced assistant who wants to practice at a higher clinical level. The ideal candidate is confident chairside, comfortable with both surgical and restorative dentistry, communicates exceptionally well with patients, and takes ownership of helping cases progress smoothly from consultation through treatment and follow-up. Schedule & Compensation Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM $36-40/hour - commensurate with experience, clinical skill set, and expanded-function credentials. Experience is required.

$36.00 - $40.00 per hour
