We welcome applicants looking to enter the oral surgery field. Oral Surgery Assistants should be organized and attentive to detail. It is a fast-paced environment which calls for the ability to multitask and switch gears quickly. Our office is located in Salem, NH and Londonderry, NH just off Route 93.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Oral Surgeon in all variety of surgical procedures. Providing pre- and post-operative care and instructions to patients. Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment, preparing trays of instruments and preparing treatment rooms for procedures. Maintain compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, HIPAA and other state regulations. Intraoral scanning for diagnostic models and impressions. Obtaining radiographic images and necessary documentation Scheduling and receiving patients, ordering supplies, and records management. Maintaining accurate patient charts
Required Skills & Abilities:
Must have a High School Diploma and reliable transportation. Must be motivated to learn with a passion for healthcare and direct patient care Dental and Oral Surgery experience (Preferred) Computer literacy in basic applications like email and Microsoft Office Follow-thru, effective communication, and reliability are a must Qualifications (must be able to obtain): Radiology certification (or ability to receive within 12 months of hire) CPR , ACLS and PALS certification DAANCE certification (or ability to receive within 12 months of hire) Compensation Compensation is dependent on certifications and years of direct patient care experience. Payment for Certifications and Education (i.e. DAANCE, Radiology, CPR, ACLS, PALS, etc.) Medical & Vision Insurance Paid vacation & sick time Access to our 401(k), with matching Eligible for a merit-based, discretionary performance bonus.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
