THE ROLE

We need an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant with at least 1 year of dental surgery experience (implant experience strongly preferred). You'll support our implant surgery team by ensuring seamless operations, exceptional patient care, and meticulous case coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as surgical assistant for dental implant procedures (single, multiple, full arch)
Prepare operatory setups and maintain sterile environment
Manage implant/surgical inventory (abutments, bone grafts, sutures, instruments)
Coordinate with labs for surgical guides, temporaries, and finals
Provide pre-op instructions and compassionate post-op follow-up calls
Track cases from intake to completion with accurate documentation
Manage patient consents and ensure patients feel informed and cared for
Maintain instruments through sterilization protocols
Support team members and participate in continuing education

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Minimum 1 year dental surgery experience CDA, EFDA, or equivalent certification CPR/BLS certified Strong organizational and communication skills

Detail-oriented Preferred:

3+ years surgical/implant experience Case management skills Leadership ability Heart for serving with compassion
