This role involves supporting surgical teams, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile and organized environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to adhere strictly to hospital protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes and hospital efficiency through diligent support and safety practices. Duties Assist surgical teams by preparing operating rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile, organized, and ready for procedures. Support patient transport within the hospital, including transferring patients safely between departments using appropriate patient transfer methods. Implement patient safety measures by adhering to infection control protocols, isolation precautions, and safe lifting practices during patient handling. Provide compassionate patient care by assisting with mobility, comfort, and basic needs before, during, and after surgical procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of patient transfers, safety checks, and equipment sterilization processes in compliance with hospital policies. Utilize effective communication skills to coordinate with caregivers, medical staff, and patients to ensure smooth operations and de-escalate any concerns or conflicts. Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), basic life support, and critical care transport procedures to enhance skills and ensure readiness.

1 full year of customer service experience required
MUST HAVE BLS
cert & a HS diploma/GED Job requires lifting heavy items, transporting patients, cleaning/turning over rooms
