Closed This position involves assisting the oral surgeon in providing compassionate and high quality patient care by facilitating services that include taking panoramic X-rays, CT imaging, vital signs, surgical assisting during procedures such as extractions, wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, and bone grafts while utilizing proper methods of passing surgery instruments to maximize patient safety at all times.
Other duties include:
Preparing operatory rooms (cleaning/disinfecting) adhering to office procedures and protocols. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with OSHA infection control policies. Maintaining supplies and equipment by proper care, cleaning, and sterilization. Providing patients verbal post-operative care instructions. Assist surgeon during general anesthesia, and local anesthesia procedures. Maintains patient confidentiality and conducts self in a professional manner. Our ideal candidate must be dedicated to providing an exceptional patient experience, possess excellent communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, take direction from the surgeon, and must be a team player to maintain a healthy and positive environment. He/She must have good manual dexterity and be able to stand on their feet for long periods. Candidate should be reliable and have strong interpersonal communication for working with other staff and work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, fun, and friendly environment.
