Surgical Technician We're looking for an experienced professional who can work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care. . The position's duties are highly variable, so the successful candidate must be willing to change direction at a moment's notice and keep pace with the other OR professionals on staff. Urology experience is preferred!

Surgical Technician Responsibilities:

Secure and prepare all supplies required for surgical intervention Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field in OR Perform instrument counts prior to each procedure Prepare patient skin for surgical treatment Assist in the position and re-position patient during surgery Provide supportive care during the operative phase Collect and label specimens taken during the surgical procedure Stocking and Supply Distributions Follow all federal, state, and departmental safety procedures

Surgical Technician Requirements:

High school diploma/GED required Surgical technician certification from an accredited school or training program required 3+ years experience in a hospital or outpatient operating room First Aid and CPR certification Ability to lift 50 lbs. Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique •
