Week Duration:

6 - 13 weeks with option to extend Job Duties Assist the surgical team with preparing the operating room prior to procedures. Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile equipment and instruments. Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation. Properly prepare and handle surgical specimens. Perform instrument cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization in accordance with established protocols. Assemble and maintain sterile instrument trays. Follow all sterile technique standards and infection control guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned to support surgical operations. Surgical Services Supported General Surgery Orthopedics (hips & knees) Podiatry Pain Management Pediatric Dentistry Centralized Sterile Processing (inpatient & outpatient) Education & Experience Completion of a Surgical Technology program from an accredited technical school or institution.

Licensure / Certification

Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Job Requirements Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or degree in Surgical Technology. Must be at least 18 years of age.
