Weekly Position Summary The Surgical Technologist will support the surgical team in providing safe and efficient patient care throughout operative procedures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced operating room environment and participating in the facility's on-call rotation. Surgical Technologist Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures Assist with proper positioning and preparation of patients Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons and other members of the surgical team Perform surgical counts according to facility policies Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team during procedures Assist with room turnover and preparation between cases Follow infection prevention, sterilization, and patient safety protocols Participate in the required on-call rotation Accurately document and communicate information as required Qualifications Previous Surgical Technologist experience in an acute-care operating room setting Ability to work four 10-hour shifts and participate in an on-call rotation Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Current certifications and credentials required by the facility Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Support throughout the onboarding and assignment process Opportunity to gain experience with a leading healthcare organization Qualified Surgical Technologists who are available to begin on August 10 or August 24 are encouraged to apply today.
