This contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled, certified Surgical Technologist or ORT Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional care in the operating room.
Schedule and Shift Details:
12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM Standard workweek: 36 hours On-call requirements include 3-4 weeknight calls per 6-week schedule (7:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM) 1-2 weekend on-call shifts per 6-week schedule (either 7:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM, Saturday or Sunday) Holiday participation is required on a rotating call basis No weekend shift rotation outside of call responsibilities No floating to other units
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or valid nursing credentials with operating room experience Demonstrated expertise in surgical procedures and aseptic technique Ability to promptly and safely respond in high-pressure situations Previous experience managing on-call duties preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to maintaining professional standards and patient confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operative procedures Prepare and maintain a sterile field before and during surgery Ensure all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are sterile and available Accurately count sponges, instruments, and sharps pre

  • $1,664/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates.
