Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification preferred. Previous experience as a CVOR Tech or in a cardiac surgical setting. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and surgical instrumentation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to adjust quickly in fast-paced situations.
Core Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room and cardiac equipment according to procedure requirements. Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular operations, ensuring safekeeping of instruments. Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique policies and infection prevention standards. Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons for optimal patient care outcomes. Perform equipment inventory and sterilization tasks as needed.
