1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a dual scrub and sterile processing role requiring 3 years of experience and Epic charting proficiency. Details 4x10-hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Dual role covering both Scrub and Sterile Processing duties Work settings include Ambulatory OR, General OR, Labor & Delivery, and General Surgery On-call required at the Madras campus specifically for C-Sections, open Monday through Thursday for night call Floating required to sister facilities including Redmond, Bend, and Sisters Uses Epic charting system Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist CST certification required (NBSTSA and/or NCCT) BLS certification required Prior travel assignment experience required Experience in both scrub and sterile processing roles required Proficiency with aseptic technique, instrument processing, and sterilization/disinfection Experience with general surgery procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernia repair Experience with gynecology procedures including C-sections, D&C, and bilateral tubal ligation Experience with endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, and PEG tube placement/exchange Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes and indicators Proof of address required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Radius requirement of 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Maximum of 7 total days of RTO permitted during the 13-week assignment Pending license accepted Responsibilities include equipment documentation, specimen handling/labeling, and wound care/dressing changes Familiarity with electrosurgical units, fiber optic equipment, and high-level disinfectants Knowledge of fire safety and emergency management procedures Orientation includes annual module completion, which varies by specialty
