JOB SUMMARY

Facilitate the operative or other invasive procedure by preparing and providing the required sterile instruments; supplies; and equipment and maintains the sterile field while anticipating and responding to the needs of the surgical team. CSTs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities; surveys; improvement initiatives; and continued education.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Completion of approved Surgical Technology Program Minimum Work Experience No previous experience Required Licenses/Certifications BLS - should not initiate patient contact until completed Must maintain a valid surgical technologist certification Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Deals effectively with hospital personnel Advocate of quality and cost effective care Maintains professional appearance at all times Ability to handle confidential information Designated Driver No OSHA Category 1 - High Risk Save job Apply now
