Job Description

Shift:
M-F 10 hrs a day - 4 days a week || 6:55 AM - 5:30
PM Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and organize operating rooms before surgical procedures.

Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are properly sterilized, available, and functioning.

Establish and maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.

Assist surgeons during operations by anticipating procedural needs and passing instruments and supplies.

Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and other supplies according to facility protocols.

Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and preparation for subsequent procedures.

Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and notify appropriate personnel of replenishment needs.

Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards at all times.

Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other clinical staff to promote quality patient outcomes.

Participate in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient surgical environment.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited or approved Surgical Technology program.

Current Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration (required).Previous experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment.

Knowledge of sterile processing, aseptic technique, and surgical procedures.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting multiple surgical specialties.

Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic surgical environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate surgical team needs.
