• + Generate, analyze, and distribute quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) reports for Obstetric and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound services.

+ Monitor ultrasound study performance metrics to ensure compliance with departmental, organizational, and accreditation standards.

+ Conduct routine audits of OB and MFM imaging studies to verify completeness, accuracy, documentation quality, and adherence to established protocols.

+ Identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement in imaging quality and workflow processes; communicate findings to leadership and providers.

+ Collaborate with physicians, sonographers, and clinical staff to support standardization of imaging practices and consistency across all OB/MFM studies.

+ Maintain quality databases, tracking systems, and performance dashboards to support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• + Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements [Required] + Ensure a safe and comfortable experience for the patient during the study.

+ Create and edit orders in the electronic medical record. [Required]

+ Create patient records in the sonography reporting software system. [Required]

+ Create sonographer reports in the sonography reporting software system and enter requisite data. [Required]

+ Demonstrate timeliness in completion of studies and documentation. [Required]

+ Detailed fetal anatomic surveys [Required]

+ Fetal Echocardiography [Required]

+ Doppler assessment of arterial and venous blood vessels. [Required]

+ Fetal growth assessments [Required]

+ Transvaginal cervical length assessments [Required]

+ Provide sonographic assistance for procedures (chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, cerclage) [Required]

• Education:
• + High School Grad or Equiv [Required] + Associate [Preferred]
• Field of Study:
• + Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Work Experience:
• + 3+ experience in OB/GYN sonography. [Required] + Vascular experience as approved by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in OB/Gyn. [Required]
