Summary As a Vascular Technologist at CardioRisk, you will play a crucial role in our mission to enhance cardiovascular health through advanced diagnostic techniques. Located in various physician offices nationwide, you will utilize your expertise to conduct ultrasound imaging that aids in the early detection of cardiovascular diseases. Responsibilities Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations to assess arterial structure and vascular health. Maintain high standards of quality control for imaging procedures and equipment. Educate patients on the ultrasound process and provide compassionate care throughout their experience. Stay updated with advancements in vascular technology and best practices. Participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills. Qualifications Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Certification with ARDMS is
REQUIRED.
Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent is
PREFERED.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to vascular health. Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and performing diagnostic evaluations. Expectations Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care. Ability to work independently within a variety of physician offices.
