This contract position seeks professionals with a background in cardiovascular imaging, ensuring the highest standards in echocardiographic studies.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours with shifts determined by facility needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography required. Proven experience operating echocardiography equipment and performing comprehensive adult echo procedures. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and related pathologies. Ability to communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, and patients. Familiarity with standard protocols for imaging and safety in an acute care setting. Flexibility to adapt to evolving workflows and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality echocardiographic exams, including 2D, Doppler, and Color Flow studies as ordered by providers. Analyze and document findings, assisting physicians with diagnostic assessment. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Collaborate with clinical teams to streamline patient scheduling and imaging workflows. Care for and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, following all infection control protocols. Engage in continuous learning to stay up-to-date on the latest cardiac imaging trends and techniques.
