What We're Looking For:
Education :
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography or Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.
Experience :
Minimum of one year of experience in sonography. Licensure/Certification/Registration (required): NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in a minimum of one specialty - RT(S) or ARDMS within 6 months of hire
What You'll Do:
Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging and provide procedural support in collaboration with physicians Independently complete detailed ultrasounds, using appropriate imaging techniques to ensure accuracy and diagnostic value Assist physicians with ultrasound guidance during procedures and other diagnostic interventions Review images for quality and accuracy and repeat or adjust studies as needed Document patient history, clinical information, imaging results, and procedural details accurately in the EMR Communicate significant findings and observations promptly to providers Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and clean and disinfect probes and equipment in accordance with infection prevention and compliance standards Explain procedures clearly, provide compassionate support, and help create a calm, reassuring patient experience Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and team members to support efficient clinic operations and quality care Participate in training, staff meetings, and improvement efforts while modeling professionalism, flexibility, and organizational values
