SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!
Supervises and performs ultrasound procedures and related tasks on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for the supervision of image quality, protocol development and employee training to insure efficient operation within the Ultrasound area. Assists with departmental and hospital CQI activities.
Shift:
Week 1: Mon
  • Thurs 7:00 AM
  • 5:30 PM Week 2: Mon
  • Fri 7:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM Requirements Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with specialty in Abdomen required.
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred in addition to RDMS. 5 years ultrasound experience preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Associate Degree or advanced courses in management or related field preferred. Must have working knowledge of budget preparation and control. Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff and physicians. Excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include bending, stooping, standing, sitting and reaching for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Excellent visual acuity and hearing required. Good physical and mental fitness to meet demands of patients, families and physicians and call schedule. Physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
