Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Sonographer, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across a variety of clinical settings. Your expertise in ultrasound technology will help clinicians make accurate diagnoses, guide treatments, and monitor patient progress. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across diverse medical specialties including general imaging, vascular, cardiac. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and maintaining effective communication throughout the imaging session. Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, capturing high-quality images for accurate interpretation by physicians. Maintain detailed medical documentation of procedures, patient condition reports, and imaging results using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Ensure proper manual handling techniques to promote patient safety and comply with health and safety standards. Collaborate closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and report findings promptly. Requirements Proven experience as a Sonographer or in a similar diagnostic radiology role, with a focus on vascular and cardiac. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ultrasound technology, and medical documentation practices. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations. Experience with EMR/EHR management systems for accurate record keeping and reporting. Prior clinic experience is highly desirable. Excellent client communication skills to effectively interact with patients of diverse backgrounds and explain procedures clearly. Ability to handle manual tasks such as blood sampling and patient positioning safely and efficiently. Knowledge of healthcare protocols related to patient service, blood sampling, and reporting patient conditions accurately. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
