Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive emergency and critical care services to veterinary patients.
Evaluate, diagnose, and develop appropriate treatment plans for emergency and critically ill patients.
Manage a diverse caseload involving urgent, complex, and life-threatening medical conditions.
Perform emergency surgical procedures and other appropriate medical interventions.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Provide pain management and critical care monitoring as appropriate.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians, support staff, and other veterinarians to ensure coordinated patient care.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Participate in case management, patient monitoring, and emergency stabilization.
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.
Stay current with advances in emergency and critical care medicine through continuing education and professional development.
Support a patient-first approach while maintaining high standards of medical and ethical care.
QualificationsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary degree required.
Current veterinary license or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state.
Experience in emergency veterinary medicine preferred.
Strong clinical, diagnostic, surgical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to compassionate patient and client care.

Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Compensation:
$140,000-$240,000+ annually, based on experience and qualifications.Sign-On Bonus:
