Description We are seeking a candidate who is willing to take over as the full-time, responsible veterinarian for our practice. We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated veterinarian who is committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a DVM or equivalent degree and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland. We welcome both experienced veterinarians and newer graduates who are eager to learn and grow with supportive mentorship. Strong communication skills, a collaborative team approach, sound medical judgment, and a genuine desire to build lasting relationships with clients, patients, and colleagues are essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who values practicing good medicine, enjoys working as part of a team, and wants to be part of a positive, supportive hospital culture.
Daily Responsibilities:
Preventative Care:
Perform routine wellness exams, vaccinations, and parasite prevention plans.
Sick Visits:
Ability to diagnose and treat common ailments such as ear infections, skin issues, and arthritis.
Internal Medicine:
Diagnose and manage chronic conditions like diabetes, kidney disease, Addisons, Cushing's, thyroid issues and allergies.
Client Relations:
Build long-term bonds with local families through empathetic communication. Highlights working for a privately owned practice:

We're looking for someone who values relationships—with clients, patients, and teammates—and believes that great medicine starts with having the time and support to do it well. Requirements DVM or equivalent degree. Licensed to practice in Maryland. Surgical experience a plus, but not a requirement. Availability to work 1 late night during the week (7pm). No weekends required. Conduct physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and formulate comprehensive treatment plans. Ability to interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and ultrasound imaging. Confident and well-versed in educating pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, treatment options, and end-of-life care.
