What You'll Do Examine, Diagnose, & Treat:
Handle a dynamic mix of urgent care cases and scheduled visits for companion animals.
Triage & Stabilize:
Prioritize incoming patients based on medical urgency, stabilize critical cases, and coordinate specialty referrals when necessary.
Surgical & Medical Procedures:
Perform general and urgent care procedures, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry within your skill set.
Deliver Clear Communication:
Develop tailored diagnostic plans, treatment estimates, and client education with empathy and transparency.
Collaborate & Mentor:
Partner closely with technicians, assistants, and CSRs, while helping foster the growth of the clinical support team.
Maintain Accurate Records:
Keep clean, timely medical charts to support continuity of care.
What You'll Bring Education:
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Active Ohio veterinary license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date) and current DEA registration.
Skillset:
Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
Experience:
Urgent care or emergency experience is a plus, but strong general practice experience with an interest in urgent care is highly encouraged to apply!
Overnight Interest Welcome:
As our practice continues to expand, veterinarians with overnight urgent care or emergency experience (or an interest in developing these skills down the road) are strongly encouraged to apply! Schedule & Flexibility Full-time and part-time options are available. Specific shifts and scheduling details will be discussed during the interview process. Base Salary:
Competitive base pay based on experience.
