Here at CCMVS, our veterinarians spend quality time with each client and their pet. Each visit per pet usually lasts one hour. We are not a Fear Free Mobile Practice but our current veterinarians are Elite Fear Free Certified. At CCMVS, we practice with Fear Free Standards and Protocols. Practice the highest standard of medical care to all CCMVS patients Provide full-service veterinary care, whether it's treating and diagnosing illnesses and injuries or advising pet owners on nutrition, prevention, and routine veterinary care Family first policies and work environment. Work with your peers to deliver quality client experience Be willing to practice Fear Free Standards of patient care Work together with an assistant or technician of your choosing No weekends, holidays, and/or after hour emergency calls for routine emergency care of clients and non-clients Surgical skills are not required for this job Must have at least 2 years experience for application due to the nature of being a mobile veterinarian In-home euthanasia visits can be scheduled on the weekends or afterhours if elected but are not mandatory. However, these visits do provide great pay compensation. What does mobile veterinary practice provide: You are unique as you come to visit the pet in the client's home Veterinarian centered culture, medical mentorship, and operating model We offer in-home euthanasia care for our sick, elderly, and/or hospice patients Typical day of our veterinarian is limited to 5-10 patients a day We welcome interaction with leadership and influence over policies (we value opinions with clear, straightforward communication) Flexible provider schedule Deliver medical, surgical (if elected), and dental care to patients, and supervise medical staff as needed Surgical skills are not necessary for this position Gratitude and appreciation for every appointment All appointments will occur during normal operating hours Monday-Friday from 9 am to 4 pm No walk-in appointments that lead to double or triple booked appointments Willing to work with practice manager and associates on schedule availability and appointment times Financial incentives, production based pay, and performance bonuses considered DVM Job Requirements Veterinarian is required to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. assisted. Veterinarian must be able to walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, stoop, stand, and reach consistently during the workday Prolonged periods of sitting while driving A valid driver's license DEA license must be up to date and current State DVM license must be up to date and current Working knowledge of smartphones, tablets/computers, GPS, and digital medical records Understanding of digital medical records (we utilize EzyVet EMR) Understanding of VetSnap for DEA digital record keeping so no manual DEA logbooks Use of online pharmacy and approving of medications Benefits Flexible Work Schedule and Time off Guaranteed Full Compensation Pay starting out at 25% of generated revenue Great for the veterinarian needing a change in lifestyle and pace Excellent for the stay-at-home DVM parent or burnt out DVM wanting a change in pace and manage your own schedule Company vehicle for business use Medical, Dental, and/or Vision Insurance compensation if elected Employer Paid 100% Short Term Disability, Professional Membership to TVMA and AVMA, Malpractice Insurance, Continuing Education, TN license, and DEA license compensation Discounted care for your own pets
