Associate Veterinarian - Full-Time or Part-Time Privately Owned Practice | $115K Starting Base + 20% Production Apple Tree Animal Clinic | Ranson, WV Apple Tree Animal Clinic is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our independently owned small-animal practice. We are growing and expanding our availability to include later evening appointments and Saturday hours of approximately 4-6 hours . This is a growth position designed to increase access for our clients while maintaining a sustainable schedule for our team. Why Apple Tree? We are a privately owned practice , and that matters. What You'll Be Doing Our associates enjoy the variety of general practice, including: Preventive and wellness care Sick and urgent-care visits Internal medicine Dentistry Soft-tissue surgery Digital radiography Ultrasound In-house and reference laboratory diagnostics Chronic disease management Senior and quality-of-life care Special interests are welcome, and we are happy to support veterinarians who want to grow in particular areas of medicine.
Compensation Full-Time Starting Base:
$115,000 + 20% Production Our ProSal compensation structure provides the security of a guaranteed base while rewarding productivity.
Starting guaranteed base salary:
$115,000 20% production Base may be adjusted based on experience For example, a veterinarian producing $700,000 annually would earn approximately $140,000 in annual compensation , with additional earning potential as production increases. Part-time compensation will be structured based on schedule and hours worked.

Requirements Applicants must:
Hold a DVM or equivalent veterinary degree Be licensed or eligible for licensure in West Virginia Be eligible to obtain and maintain required state and federal prescribing credentials Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care Communicate effectively with clients and coworkers Work well within a collaborative team Maintain accurate and timely medical records Be dependable, accountable, and professional Be willing to contribute to some evening and/or Saturday coverage Be motivated to develop and maintain a productive caseload while preserving appropriate standards of care Preferred, But Not Required Small-animal general practice experience Confidence with routine surgery and dentistry Interest in developing additional clinical skills Experience with ultrasound, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, or other general-practice procedures Newer graduates are encouraged to apply.
