Director of Golf About West End Golf Club West End Golf Club is a new membership-based indoor golf club opening in the New Orleans area. Built for golfers who want more opportunities to play, practice, and improve, the club combines state-of-the-art simulator technology with professional instruction, competitive leagues, and a welcoming social atmosphere.

We're building more than an indoor golf facility—we're building a golf community. As an opening team member, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the club's culture, programming, and member experience from day one. Position Summary The Director of Golf is responsible for delivering an exceptional golf experience through world-class instruction, engaging programming, and meaningful member relationships. As the face of West End Golf Club, this individual will create a welcoming, social, and performance-focused environment that inspires members to improve their game, connect with others, and make the club part of their everyday routine. The ideal candidate is an accomplished instructor with a passion for teaching, a natural ability to build relationships, and the leadership skills to help establish West End Golf Club as the region's premier indoor golf club. Essential ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Player Development Deliver exceptional private and group instruction for golfers of all skill levels. Develop personalized improvement plans utilizing launch monitor technology and video analysis. Lead private lessons, clinics, player development programs, and instructional events. Help members establish measurable goals and celebrate their progress. Member Experience Serve as the primary ambassador for the golf experience. Build lasting relationships with members and guests. Welcome and onboard new members, ensuring they understand the club's offerings and technology. Foster an inclusive, energetic, and community-driven atmosphere. Programming & Events Organize and oversee leagues, tournaments, competitions, and special events. Create engaging competitive and social experiences that encourage members to return frequently. Develop programming that drives participation, member engagement, and community. Collaborate with club leadership to continually enhance the member experience. Golf Operations Ensure simulator bays, practice areas, and golf equipment are maintained to the highest standard. Assist members with simulator technology and club usage. Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming golf environment. Provide recommendations to leadership regarding programming, equipment, and the overall golf experience. Qualifications PGA Professional preferred, but not required. 3-5 years of experience in golf instruction, coaching, or golf operations preferred. Strong understanding of golf swing fundamentals, launch monitor technology, and player development. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for hospitality, golf, and creating exceptional member experiences. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Open availability to support club operations, member programming, and special events as business needs require. Compensation Competitive base salary plus commission on instructional revenue, offering significant earning potential for a motivated golf professional.
