We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Overview:
The Player Services Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service to club members while supporting daily golf operations. This role focuses on member interaction, course readiness, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism throughout the golf facility.
Essential Responsibilities:
Greet and proactively assist members to ensure a welcoming, service-oriented experience Build positive relationships with members through attentive and courteous interaction Perform bag room duties, including handling, storing, and cleaning golf clubs Pick the driving range, clean golf balls, and maintain range presentation Clean, stage, and park golf carts to spotless standards and ensure proper charging Maintain cleanliness and organization inside the bag room and surrounding golf shop areas Uphold a neat, professional appearance of all player service areas
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills Knowledge of the game of golf and golf etiquette Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment Attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and presentation
Scheduling:
Seasonal position running April through November.
Benefits:
Golf course and practice facility access based on availability and operational needs, with approval required from the Director of Golf or Head Golf Professional.
Income:
$8.00 per hour base pay Additional income through member gratuity Tips are pooled daily and distributed based on hours worked Total hourly earnings, including tips, may average up to approximately $15.00 per hour, depending on hours worked, member volume, and service level Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
