Golf Services Staff Alpine Country Club - 3.4 Demarest, NJ Job Details Temporary | Seasonal | Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Moving Full Job Description Overview To qualify for this full-time, seasonal position, applicants must have a positive attitude, be a team player, and have a desire to provide great customer service. Hospitality and service are the cornerstones of this position. The ability to lift at least 50lbs (golf bags) and a willingness to work outside and on the weekends/holidays are also required. Applicants must have reliable transportation. Essential Responsibilities The job will include typical outside service duties including but not limited to: • Greeting Alpine members and guests in a professional and courteous manner. Making sure water coolers are full with ice and are clean on a daily basis Communicate daily with Professional Staff and Golf Services Supervisor about events and operations. Assure golf cars are cleaned and washed per club procedures. Restock and rotate golf cars based on usage reports. Charge all golf cars on a daily basis. Maintain clean towels, including washing, drying, and folding. Upkeep of practice area and hitting stations. Follow hitting area rotation schedule. Restock hitting stations and pick range when needed. Maintain chipping area and putting green. Re-fill practice area bins in the evening in preparation for next day's opening shift. Set up members and guest's bags for play. Put away member and guest bags in proper storage location and in timely fashion. Maintain rental set inventory by keeping clubs and bags clean. Load bags and move golf cars to car staging area. Keep golf car staging area well stocked with carts throughout the day. Clean all players' golf clubs thoroughly. Assure that all bags are tagged properly. Provide information on club policies and procedures, upcoming events, and rules of the day to members.
