Job Summary Golf Starter / Ranger White Manor Country Club is seeking a reliable and professional Golf Starter / Ranger to support daily golf operations and ensure an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This position plays a key role in maintaining pace of play, managing the first tee, and upholding club standards on the golf course.
Position Overview:
The Golf Starter / Ranger is responsible for overseeing tee time operations, monitoring pace of play, and providing a high level of member service both on the first tee and throughout the golf course.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and organize the first tee, ensuring groups tee off on time Communicate clearly with members and guests regarding course rules, policies, and expectations Monitor and maintain proper pace of play across the golf course Patrol the course to assist players and address any on-course issues Provide a welcoming and professional first impression to all golfers Coordinate with the golf shop staff regarding tee sheet updates and delays Enforce club policies in a respectful and professional manner Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Qualifications:
Prior golf course experience required (starter, ranger, or similar role preferred) Strong knowledge of golf etiquette and pace of play standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous in all situations Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
Compensation & Benefits:
