Responsibilities Decorate cakes and baked goods with intricate designs, piping, fondant, and other decorative techniques to meet customer specifications and company standards Prepare and assemble baked goods, including doughs, fillings, and icings, following precise recipes and quality guidelines Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools safely and efficiently to support production needs Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout the shift Package finished products carefully to ensure presentation quality and freshness during delivery or customer pickup Assist in food preparation tasks related to pastry production, including measuring ingredients and portioning baked goods Provide excellent customer service by addressing special requests or questions about decorated cakes and baked items Qualifications Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, or food production within a bakery or food industry setting Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations in a commercial kitchen environment Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace Basic math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients and recipe adherence Excellent attitude toward teamwork and collaboration Previous catering experience or high-volume production background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your artistic talents turn simple ingredients into edible works of art!
