Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that customers receive high-quality products and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and preparation, along with a commitment to maintaining food safety standards. Duties Assist in the preparation and presentation of baked goods, including pastries, breads, and desserts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about products. Serving customers Stock shelves with baked goods and ensure all products are properly labeled and displayed. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a positive work environment. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Skills Familiarity with food safety practices in a kitchen environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knife skills and experience using kitchen equipment safely. Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
