Job Overview Are you a reliable, self-motivated individual who thrives when given ownership of your workspace? We are seeking dependable Bakery Team Members for both our morning prep/opening shifts and afternoon closing shifts. In this role, you will be the engine that keeps our daily operations running. For the majority of your shift, you will work independently—managing front-of-house customer service, prepping and baking off fresh-baked items, crafting custom sandwiches, and maintaining store quality. Shift Options Available Morning Shift (6:00 AM - 12:00 PM): Handle store setup, customer morning rushes, sandwich assembly, and finish baking off our scratch prep items (scones, cookies, muffins). Afternoon/Closing Shift (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM): Manage afternoon guest flow, keep up with fresh food prep, handle light store sanitization, and complete daily closing procedures solo.

Responsibilities Solo Operations:

Execute opening or closing procedures, customer service, and daily food prep independently without step-by-step supervision.

Bake-Off & Prep:

Finish, tray, and bake off scratch prep items (scones, cookies, muffins, and specialty items) to exact quality standards.

Food Preparation:

Craft fresh, made-to-order sandwiches and maintain prep stations efficiently.

Customer Experience:

Greet every guest warmly, process Point of Sale (POS) transactions, and build rapport with neighborhood regulars.

Store Cleanliness:

Maintain Oahu food safety standards, keep work areas pristine, and complete daily wash and sanitation routines autonomously.

Shift Accountability:

Manage overall workflow, restock retail displays, and handle register drawer balancing.

Experience Proven Reliability:

Excellent attendance track record for set scheduled shifts (6:00 AM or through 5:00 PM close).

Autonomous Work Ethic:

Strong ability to self-manage, prioritize task lists, and maintain high efficiency when working unsupervised.

Food Service Experience:

Previous experience in a bakery, café, deli, or fast-casual environment preferred.

Customer-First Mindset:

Physical Requirements:
