Flexible This position offers significant scheduling flexibility. We care less about when you work and more about having a dependable schedule we can count on. Days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends can all work! We simply ask that you clearly communicate when you will be working and consistently show up as scheduled. Position Overview Our Cookie Decorator is responsible for both cookie production and buttercream decorating. This role requires someone who can work quickly while maintaining accuracy, quality, and consistency. You will make and roll cookie dough according to The Eat Shop recipes and production standards and decorate our signature buttercream cookies according to seasonal designs and order specifications. Speed matters in this position — but so does quality. The right person can work efficiently while producing cookies that look and taste consistently great. Key Responsibilities Make cookie dough accurately according to The Eat Shop recipes Roll and cut dough quickly, accurately, and consistently Maintain consistent cookie size, thickness, shape, and quality Decorate buttercream cookies quickly and with attention to quality and detail Consistently recreate approved designs, colors, styles, and finishes Complete assigned production quantities within established timelines Follow seasonal designs and custom order specifications Maintain quality and consistency while working at an efficient production pace Follow all food safety, handling, and storage requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace Communicate clearly about schedule, production progress, and any issues that arise Assist with other bakery production tasks as needed What We're Looking For Speed, accuracy, and consistency when making and rolling cookie dough Speed and quality when decorating with buttercream frosting Strong attention to detail without sacrificing efficiency Ability to follow recipes, measurements, designs, and production standards precisely Ability to recreate the same product consistently from batch to batch Previous baking and/or cookie decorating experience preferred Ability to work independently and stay productive Dependable and reliable — if you say you will be there, we need to be able to count on you Strong communication regarding your schedule and availability Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to become a valued, long-term member of The Eat Shop team Scheduling Flexibility This is a great position for someone who needs flexibility.
