Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cookies, cakes, and pastries, following established recipes and quality standards Handle food preparation tasks such as dough mixing, cake decorating, and pastry assembly with precision and care Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to ensure high-volume production during busy morning hours Package baked items carefully to maintain freshness and presentation for customer orders or retail display Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper equipment cleaning procedures Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies, rotating stock, and notifying management of low inventory levels Provide friendly, attentive customer service by answering questions about products and ensuring a positive experience for every guest Skills Experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation with strong knife skills and dough handling techniques Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, refrigerators, and decorating tools safely Skilled in cake decorating, pastry assembly, and creative presentation of baked goods Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes Experience in high-volume food production environments with a focus on efficiency and quality control Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Familiarity with food handling procedures specific to the food industry or catering settings This role is paid and ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while contributing to an energetic team environment.
