About us The Homestead Bakery is located in Arthur, IL. Since 2006, we've been donning our aprons and clutching our measuring cups to create delectable baked goods. Staying true to the diverse culture of Arthur, The Homestead Bakery offers a full line of made-from-scratch Amish baked goods, including caramel iced cinnamon rolls, honey yeast breads, sweet breads, over 18 flavors of angel food cakes and our famous iced pumpkin cookies. We ship our products all over the United States. We love the idea of doing something from start to finish. We love to grow things, we love to produce things, and we love to share the end product with our family and yours. Each of our pumpkin cookies represents the full life cycle of our beloved cucurbit and reminds us of what the land can provide if given the opportunity.

Relaxed atmosphere Flexible working hours On-the-job training We are looking for Bakers to prepare a variety of made-from-scratch Amish baked goods. Baker responsibilities include opening the bakery early in the morning, following recipes, packaging baked goods and keeping areas clean. To be successful in this role, you should be ready to work hard and be part of a team. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer quality made-from-scratch baked goods and impeccable service while giving our customers, employees, and community an unmatched experience. Experience in baking, food service, or retail is a plus, but not required.

Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
