Bakery Team Member About Place of Grace and Gracefully Gourmet :

Place of Grace is a faith-based residential recovery program dedicated to helping men and women break cycles of destructive behavior related to addiction, trauma, and poverty. Gracefully Gourmet is our social enterprise that provides recovery-friendly employment and vocational training opportunities for residents through the production and sales of our signature gourmet popcorn and bakery products. The mission of our social enterprise is to create an intentional and empowering work environment that fosters personal growth and professional development.

Job Summary :

The Bakery Team Member for Gracefully Gourmet will be responsible for the assisting with operations for the bakery. This includes providing customer service, preparing baked goods, and cleaning. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to multi-task.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Sell bakery and popcorn products to customers via a Point of Sale system Engage customers in a friendly and mission-forward manner Ensure the bakery space is clean and welcoming at all times

Preparing Baked Goods:

Assist with various tasks with creating bakery goods Assist with finishing touches on bakery items - icing, bagging bread, etc.

Cleaning:

Clean dishes; put away dishes Wipe down tables and chairs

Sweep & Mop Floors Qualifications:

Must have strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to multi-task Must work well with others, even in difficult situations and with a diverse group of people. Must represent the organization well in their personal and professional life, including through social media. Must be a passionate and energetic individual who is willing to take on new challenges. Must have a high level of motivation. Must have the ability to solve problems and a willingness to utilize a team approach as needed.
