This is not an entry-level training position — we're looking for someone who already has strong decorating skills and is confident working on custom cakes. Formal pastry or culinary school training is not required, but is a plus. We value talent, skill, creativity, and hands-on experience. Please do not apply without photos of your decorating work. We are specifically looking for an experienced decorator who can work independently. ——The Right Candidate Professional experience is preferred, but we are open to considering someone with less professional bakery experience if their decorating skills and portfolio demonstrate that they can perform the job independently. In other words, we're looking for talent and ability — not just a certain number of years on a résumé. —- What You'll Do Decorate custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, showers, and special events Work with Swiss meringue buttercream, fondant, piping, and tiered cakes Create clean, polished, professional finishes Execute detailed client designs and reference photos Create original designs and bring creative ideas to life Work efficiently while meeting production deadlines Maintain a clean, organized workspace —— What We're Looking For 2+ years of professional cake decorating experience preferred Strong Swiss meringue buttercream skills Strong fondant skills and experience Experience with tiered/stacked cakes Excellent piping and finishing skills Ability to create clean, professional designs Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines Comfortable working in a busy bakery environment Ability to accurately follow customer designs and reference photos How to Apply Please send your resume and a portfolio/photos of your cake decorating work.
