Ayu Bakehouse is growing, and we're looking for a Pastry Cook with an eye for detail to join our team. This role includes mixing, laminating and shaping pastries in addition to producing all components from scratch for tartlets, cookies, entremets and more. There's room for creative input and seasonality as we expand our cold case and seasonal offerings. We're a young company and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us—someone who values professionalism, reliability, kindness, and being part of a tight-knit team. You might be a great fit if you: Have an eye for detail and take pride in precise, consistent work Are a self-starter who's professional, reliable and easy to work alongside Are excited to grow your pastry skills as part of a close team Are open to honest conversations —whether that means giving or receiving feedback, or raising a concern before it becomes a bigger problem Have pastry experience (preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate) The shift is 4 x 10hr days, 9am-7:30pm, with 3 days off. Weekend availability required. This is a full-time, hourly position. Starting wage depends on experience, professionalism and availability.
