Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including pastries, cakes, doughs, and other confections, adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, pastry tools, and other baking appliances safely and efficiently Manage food production processes to ensure timely delivery of fresh baked items for daily service or catering orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards Package baked goods securely for retail display or catering purposes with attention to presentation and preservation Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredients' freshness and restocking supplies as needed Experience Proven pastry preparation experience in a bakery or culinary environment with high-volume production familiarity Skilled in dough preparation, and food handling techniques Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards Experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools efficiently Ability to follow recipes precisely while demonstrating creativity in pastry presentation Previous catering or food industry experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly This role is perfect for passionate bakers eager to elevate their craft in a lively bakery setting.
