Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and reliable Early Morning Baker/Kitchen team member to help us kick off each day with freshly baked goods and delicious breakfast offerings. This role is perfect for someone who loves working in a lively kitchen environment, enjoys baking, and takes pride in delivering quality food to our customers. If you're an energetic individual with a passion for food preparation and a knack for early mornings, we want to hear from you! You will also work a few front counter shifts as well. Those hours are from 6am -2pm. Responsibilities Prepare baked goods such as pastries, bread, and other breakfast items following established recipes and standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters. Assist in food production tasks like dough preparation, cake decorating, and food handling to ensure timely service. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation practices. Support packaging of baked goods for retail or catering purposes while ensuring quality control. Follow recipe instructions accurately to ensure consistency in baked products and menu items. Contribute to high-volume production environments by managing multiple tasks efficiently during busy mornings. Requirements Previous experience in baking, pastry preparation, or food production is highly preferred. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation, knife skills, and dough preparation techniques. Strong understanding of food safety management and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work early mornings consistently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory. Excellent attention to detail in cake decorating, baking, and food presentation. Customer service skills are a plus if interacting with retail customers or catering clients. You must be available to work weekends and have your own transportion.
